BEHIND the BRAND

Hey folks,

My name’s Adam Long, and this is a little snippet behind the Long Lost Creative brand.

Most of my early childhood years were spent on a ranch in the middle-of-nowhere North Dakota, wearing Hawaiian shirts and carrying around an art kit full of colored pencils, oil pastels, sketch pens and paint brushes (yes, it’s still the best Christmas present I’ve received to this day). When that phase passed, I became interested in both technology and art, so what better degree than Graphic Design?

After graduating from Bismarck State in 2016, I moved to Nashville shortly after and started working for a startup marketing and branding company. Fast forward a few short years and Long Lost Creative was born. The launch of this graphic design and photography company has been quite an adventure. Fact: Designers will never stop editing and changing their own personal brand—from font choices to contracts and logotypes—it’s a growing, never-ending process, and I love it.

The bones of Long Lost Creative were built on the foundation of empathetic design, which means each design decision is made with the client’s and their audience’s feelings, thoughts and emotions in mind to deliver meaningful, inherent work. I’ve used this empathetic approach with an array of clients, from fresh startups and entrepreneurs to multifaceted multi-million dollar corporations. This method is by far the most effective and successful.

If you’re curious about working together, let’s chat about how we can make that happen!

Cheers,
